A strand of large worn early Islamic era Medieval glass beads in a variety of gorgeous colors. This is a mix of heavily patina'd ancient glass beads in translucent blue and green, matte teal blue, white patina with eyes and without.
Circa 900-1200 C.E. West Africa.
Perfect for making necklaces and other jewelry.
Condition: fair-good. Wear commensurate with age including chips and missing eyes. Some patina may be removable with water or a smidgen of olive oil rubbed on beads.
Bead sizes range from 10-15 mm. Strand measures 12 inches.
