Square bright silver hair pendants with pointed centers, wire work decoration and granulation.
These hair ornaments come from the Tukolor peoples of Senegal and Mauritania and are worn on a headband or temporal ornament.
Holes for stringing in corners. Made of thin metal. Not high silver.
Sold individually.
Measurements: .8 inches / 20 mm width.
Weight: 1.9-3 grams each.Very light weight, but not fragile.
Overall good condition. Some wear. Circa 2000's (estimate).
