Strand of 20 early Islamic eye beads from the Sahel.

Great condition. Eyes visible. Blue with white eyes with the exception of one bead with a yellow eye.

Estimated to be circa 1200-1600 A.D. Traded and worn to keep away the “evil eye” in many cultures across the Mediterranean.

Average 12-14mm each (mixed sizes).
