Strand of Ancient Spindle Whorls and Stone beads - Rita Okrent Collection (AN128b)

Mixed strand of 8 ancient beads, including 2 full spindle whorls and some flattened spindle whorls / beads.

Mixed stone.

Smaller square bead with large round hole (has small crack but useable. Made of softer material.

Overall very good condition.

Discovered by Rita in the 1970's or early 1980's in Egypt.

From the extended Roman empire in the Near East. Exact age unknown but appraised as Roman era or older.
