Antique Large Silver and Brass Megilla Holder Including Parchment Scroll - Rita Okrent Collection (J064)

This is a large, beautifully made, silver and brass Megilla holder with a parchment scroll inside. On the silver band is written in Hebrew "Mordechai Yazah Milifnai Hamelech Belibo Meto", which means "And Mordechai went out from before the King with a dead heart" (from the story of Esther).
