Strand of 10 very old small early Islamic-era blue glass eye beads found in the Sahara/Sahel Region of West Africa (Mali or Mauritania).
Estimated to be circa 1200-1600 A.D. or older.
Traded and worn to keep away the “evil eye” in many cultures across the Mediterranean.
A lovely mix of beads . Overall worn condition with visible eyes on most beads.
Bead size ranges from 8-11mm diameter on this strand.
You will receive the strand pictured.
Note that the first photo highlights the strand with light behind it, and the second is how these beads appear without being backlit.

For China and India, and some other regions, we only use UPS, FedEX, or USPS Priority Express Mail International, due to better tracking and reliability of delivery.
