A mix of coin silver, metal and silver as often silver coins were melted down and mixed in with silver to make jewelry in Yemen.
Broke up a fabulous chain of mixed beads from the collection to match some and share! Photos also show some comparisons between short strands for reference.
Each bead strand varies. Select your preferred strand (1-6). 1 and 3 are very similar - 3 has more patina.
Strand 1: 8 silver granulated beads. Measure 4-5x6.5-7mm each. Weight: 8.9 grams.
Strand 2: 12 silver granulated beads. Measure approx 4.5x6mm each. Weight: 6 grams.
Strand 3: 8 silver granulated beads. Measure approx 4-5x6.5-7mm each. Weight: 8.9 grams.
Strand 4: 8 worn mixed metal beads. Measure approx 4.5x5.9mm each. Weight: 3.7 grams.
Strand 5: 8 mixed metal granulated beads. Measure approx 3.3x5 mm each. Weight: 2.5 grams.
Strand 6: 8 mixed metal granulated beads. Measure approx 3.2x5mm each. Weight: 2.5 grams.
