Handmade brass cornerless cube beads woven into a necklace / belt. The beads are from Orissa Provence in Northern India and are estimated to be 200+ years old (early to mid 1800's).
Provenance: This treasure came to Rita's collection via the African traders she worked with in the 1980's. It still has Rita's handwritten identification tag attached.
Condition: Very good. Weaving together of beads is holding well. Could be worn as is or turned into a longer necklace or belt.
Measurements: Length: 30 inches long. Beads measure 5mm each. Weight: 215 grams / 7.5 oz.
