Graduated Ancient Neolithic Translucent Beige Quartz Donut Stone Beads from Mauritania -Rita Okrent Collection (S479)

LIMITED AVAILABILITY: only 6 left

24 inch strands of Neolithic-era mixed translucent and solid beige, white, clear, off-white beads from Mauritania.

These beads are the perfect size to work with and have a beachie, boho feeling to them. They have a lovely glow due to the mix of translucent beads in each strand. They could mix with metals as well as other stone bead. Love these!

Circa late Neolithic period, circa 5000 B.C.  Either African-made by ancient artisans or made in India and traded in West Africa by merchant ships on camel routes in the Sahara. Indian stone bead craftsmanship goes back 5-6000 years.

8-13mm beads. Most beads are in the 11-12mm (estimate).

24 inches (61 cm) of beads per strand.

Strands pictured are available. Strands are varied but similar in quality, size and condition of beads.

Photos also show comparison to similar stone beads also available (Stone Item 124o).
