A shop favorite in quantity - An opportunity to own a full strand of our lovely little Bohemian glass barrel bead / hanging pendants fashioned to resemble Islamic hirz prayer amulets,. Each of these sturdy, elegant barrel beads has a top bail with a hole through it, rather than through the bead, making them more like small pendants. 80 beads per strand.
Called "Haulare" or “Holari” and used for protection in West Africa.
Circa early/mid 1900's.
Nicely worn with etching. Good for all sorts of designs and great for designers needing these in quantity. Very versatile beads. A strand could be worn as is, or taken apart to use beads as jewelry supplies.
Overall these beads are in good condition but expect some wear as these are vintage/antique beads. Full strands include all types of these beads including pristine beads, and those with varied shapes, some dirt and more wear. Sold as is.
Beads range in size, but measure on average 15-16mm long. 10-13mm wide, depending on bead and if you include bail in measurement. 20 inches of beads on a 24-25 inch strand.
