Strand of 20 mixed sized and mixed shaped beads. Opaque with caramel colors.

These are natural amber, not copal or phenolic resin.

Amber is often used in traditional jewelry in West Africa and Morocco in both necklaces and hair adornments.

Circa 1800’s or earlier.

Weight: 58 grams (without string). 13-25m diameter range. 6-16mm width (hole to hole). Hole sizes vary.
