The Harratine people are found in the Western Sahara.

This is a nice example of a traditional Harratine protective amulet in the shape of a goddess and made of leather and decorated with shells and colorful beads.

It came to the collection via Morocco, and is probably from the late 1990’s.

3.5 inches tall from top of bail to bottom of tassels.
