This antique engraved silver talisman includes powerful letters and numbers to force, with the help of higher powers, a person to marry another against their will.
Possibly originally from a bazuband. Bazubands are traditional forearm and elbow armor, originating in the late Middle Ages.
Circa early to mid 1900s. Purchased in the Middle East in the 1980's.
Measures 2 inches (51mm) wide (not including bails) and 2.6 inches (67 mm) tall.
