Ancient Islamic Glass Bead Strand with Antique Stone Pendants and Mixed Glass Beads - Rita Okrent Collection (AG227)

This mixed strand of useful and interesting antique and ancient beads and pendants includes a very large eye bead with patina (20mm), a green eye bead, a black and white trailed ancient glass bead, a faceted red glass bead, an Egyptian faience melon bead, 4 antique stone pendants found in Mali, 23 additional Islamic glass beads, with eyes and patina and several European and Islamic glass beads in varied shapes. Most beads in good condition, with 4 noticeably chipped beads.

Most of these beads would have been worn and used by multiple generations of owners.

Bead sizes vary but most of the Islamic glass beads range in the 11-14mm size.
