Strand of Mixed Yemeni Silver and Coral Glass Beads - Rita Okrent Collection (ANT579)

A special original partial necklace or choker of handmade Yemeni Bedouin silver beads, cones and a prayer amulet with glass beads the color of coral.
Likely to be original stringing and designed to adorn a young woman or girl as part of her bridal dowry.
Circa 1950's. 
Overall good condition. One cone is somewhat crushed, but other one is in good condition. Strand includes handmade round collared silver beads, silver cage beads, rare silver three dimensional triangular repousse or stamped beads, red glass faux coral beads, a spacer and the silver cones. 24 beads in all. Will need to be restrung with closure.
10 inches / 25.4 cm of beads. Round beads measure 7mm. Center focal amulet measures 22x8.8mm. Lightweight at 11.97 grams.
