A long strand of mixed stone and glass beads in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors — mostly ancient with some antique pieces.
Why We Love This Strand
So much history strung together — agate, rock crystal, carnelian, and glass, side by side.
A great range of shapes and sizes, from chunky donuts to slim tube beads.
A lovely mix of colors: orange, white, beige, purple, blue, translucent.
Provenance: Mixed origin, consistent with the ancient and antique stone bead trade. Age: Mostly ancient beads, including some Neolithic-era examples, with several antique beads mixed in. Dimensions: 125 beads total. 30 inches (76.2 cm) of beads. 6–18+mm (0.25–0.7+ inch) diameter range. Shapes include donuts, tube beads, round beads, and more.
Condition: Fair to good, with most being good and better.A few beads are badly damaged; most show wear, pock marks, or chips.

USPS First Class Mail (now also known as Ground Advantage) is FREE for all U.S. orders of $35.00 or more, and is $4.00 for orders of less than $35.00.
USPS First Class International Shipping is now available for $7.50 for orders of less than $99.00 and is FREE for orders of $99.00 or more.
UPS and Priority Shipping Services via USPS are available for an additional fee.
For China and India, and some other regions, we only use UPS, FedEX, or USPS Priority Express Mail International, due to better tracking and reliability of delivery.

These pieces are glowing! They are so beautiful!!! I picture women wearing them in the sun and imagine how they must have gleamed in their hair. The white ornament surely glinted with sunlight! The ornaments must have moved so gracefully in their hair and with the light striking the pieces. I imagine this was an incredible thing to see! I feel like I understand these adornments in ways I never could have, not having seen them in person before.
