Strand of 7 Carnelian and Striped Agate Flat Triangular Amulets, W.Africa - Rita Okrent Collection (S494c)

RARE FIND: only one in our inventory

A short strand of seven exquisite flat triangular pendants, traded in West Africa (Mauritania) and used in jewelry. Beautiful off white, beige and orange hues.

These were hand carved in India hundreds of years ago and brought over in merchant trading ships by traders in the 1700-1800s.

These lovely little pendants make wonderful accents for necklaces, earrings, bracelets and all sorts of designs. Could also be used as hair beads.

They are sturdy and delicate at the same time, each individual and beautiful with natural markings.
