We donate a portion of our profits at the Rita Okrent Collection each month to CARE (CARE works with women and girls worldwide to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice - much of their current emergency relief provides humanitarian aid in Africa, Yemen and Syria), to The Water Project, which makes clean water accessible to communities in Africa, to the International Rescue Committee which helps refugees worldwide, and to Direct Relief, which improves the health and lives of people worldwide who are affected by poverty or emergency situations.
We also give locally and volunteer at Father Joe's Villages, which assists people experiencing homelessness and hunger in San Diego County.
We also recommend checking out KIVA, which allows people worldwide to help others directly via short term loans. It's great to see where your donations are going!
