Worn and Faded Ancient Islamic Glass Beads in Need of Some Special Treatment - Rita Okrent Collection (AG250)

Worn strand of faded early Islamic era rare bicone shaped glass beads. Likely to have been manufactured in Egypt and traded in West Africa.

Circa est. 900-1400 A.D. 

36 beads. Bead size ranges from 18-22mm hole to hole.

This strand was treated by something and the beads still have a noticeably different texture (soft vs cool and hard) and a bit of a smell. Worn and have color loss.

Will need some treatment to help lose the smell.
