Ancient Djenne Graduated Pale Orange Stone Quartz Beads, Mali

These beads were excavated in Mali where trade caravans crossed. They are at least 1000 years old.

Approximately 135 beads/strand. 26" strand not counting raffia. 7-14mm beads (diameter).
Conically drilled, with 1-2mm holes.

Second strand is almost off white, it's so pale. 127 beads.
