Six Rare Antique Dutch Dogon Purple and White Glass Faceted Beads from Mali - Rita Okrent Collection (ANT307g)

Set of 6 large rare very old glass beads, discovered in Mali.

Made in the Netherlands and traded to the Dogon tribe and other West African people in the 1700s.  . 

Lovely purple hues. Some of the beads have heavy calcification. All beads have wear. Faceted, but the edges have worn down with time and use.

Bead size: 11x14mm hole-to-hole to 14-18mm diameter beads.
