Mauritanian Prayer Bead Earrings with Sterling Silver Beads from Bali - E349a

These lightweight and beautiful earrings are made from prayer beads with lovely silver and black designs, from Mauritania. 

Mixed with gorgeous smaller sterling silver beads from Bali.

Note: while there is fine silverwork on the prayer beads, their base is plastic and not ebony or wood like some older prayer beads. Some older prayer beads are also made from plastic “African amber” so the use of a base plastic is not unusual.

Anyway, I love these beads and thought they’d make fabulous earrings! Several styles available.

Earrings measure 2 1/3 inches from top of ear wire to bottom.
