This large square Kitab amulet would make a lovely wall hanging or substantial focal pendant.
Estimated circa 1960's.
The amulet has decorative copper etching over a silver / metal base. It would have been used to hold a protective verse or prayer and would have been worn by a man, most likely, as the ones worn by girls and women tended to be smaller.
Measures 4.5 inches wide and long (11.5 cm) and is on a worn leather strand measuring approximately 30 inches (76 cm).
