Large Metal Pendant from the Dogon People, Mali - Rita Okrent Collection (P615)

This rare large antique or ancient metal/ bronze pendant is rectangular shaped with triangles and a large built-in bail.

Possibly from the Dogon people of Mali.. Circa 1800's or possibly much older. It is possibly a lost wax caste replica (still antique) of an ancient style pendant.

Measures 3.6 inches (9.1 cm) tall and 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) wide. Weighs 121 grams.
