Gilded Granulated and Decorated Triangular Focal Pendant from Senegal or Mauritania - Rita Okrent Collection (P875)

A vintage gilded silver triangular granulated and decorated focal pendant. Set with garnet colored faceted glass.

Beautiful granulation on this pendant. Slight indenting in center but otherwise very good condition. Center glass setting is pointing a little off center but can be fixed.

1960's or later.

Silver with gold wash, known as “ore du pays” or gold of the country.

Focal pendant measures 1.5 inches tall/40.3 mm. Weighs 10.84 grams.
