A handsome, unusual large silver Turkmen Yomud hat decoration or focal pendant
This was either part of a larger Yomud Turkmen necklace or was attached to a hat. Could have originated from Northern Afghanistan. Dangles are Afghani are and were likely added later. Holes on top were for attaching it to clothing or a hat.
Circa mid 1900's. Repair in back. Good condition. No hallmarks.
8.7 cm / 3.5 inches across. 5 inches long including dangles. 93.8 grams.
