Gorgeous Antique Flat Tabular Diamond-Shaped Agate, Rock Crystal and Carnelian Beads from Mali. Likely to have originally been hand cut in India as the stone bead trade in India goes back thousands of years and many stone beads out of West Africa originated in India.

Circa 1600's-1800's.

Strand of 50+ beads. 29 inches of beads. 11-23mm in length each, so some graduation of beads in each strand. 8-17mm at widest points.

We love this beads! They are very versatile as they are fairly lightweight and delicate for such sturdy stone. They are a bit translucent and glow when in any light.
