Ancient Islamic Glass with Southern Cross and Silver Elements from the Mauritanian Sahel - Rita Okrent Collection (NE378)

This original design necklace incorporates early Islamic Period glass beads in teal blue, cobalt blue and white, Mauritanian granulated silver beads and a lovely old silver and metal Boghdod Cross (possibly from Morocco).

Measures 18 inches (with pendant hanging lower). Sterling silver Rita clasp.
