Ancient Egyptian Faience Beads with Mixed Ancient Glass Beads, from Egypt and West Africa - Rita Okrent Collection (AN275)

A mixed strand of large ancient faience melon-type beads, from Egypt and medium ancient Nila and other ancient glass beads found in Mali.

Although the beads are worn and dirty on this strand, there is a lot to work with and for those who would like, they should clean up beautifully. 

52 small beads (2 are possibly amazonite). Sizes range from 7-9mm diameter).

12 large faience melon-type beads. Range up to 22mm diameter.
