African Antique Green, Yellow and Blue Glass Hebron Beads - Rita Okrent Collection (AT0805b)

Mixed Green, Yellow and Blue Graduated Hebron Beads, from the Sudan. Hebron beads were made with dead sea salts and date to the mid-1800s or earlier. Shades of blues and green are more rare in these beads.

Some fading on this strand such that 5 beads have lost their original color, and consequently look faded black, but are useful and are in nice condition. Pockmarks and wear, commensurate with age. Lovely cubed and round shaping on this strand!

Strand of 46 beads. Beads range from 14-20mm. 22 inches of beads on strand.
