Rare very old glass beads discovered in Mali.
Made in the Netherlands and traded to the Dogon tribe and other West African people in the 1700s. Most of the beads on the strand are faceted, but have worn smooth over the centuries.
Bead size: 9-11mm diameter
Lovely light amethyst purple hues. Wear commensurate with age.
