Traditional Palestinian Bedouin Embroidered Dress or Top Textile from Israel, Palestinian territories or Egypt/Sinai.

Beautiful embroidery of pink peacock / aviary floral patterns on an off-white background with a multi-color geometric trim.

Perfect for use in making clothing, belts, purses, quilts, etc.

Circa 1990's or earlier.

Measures approximately 18 inches / 45.7 cm long and 10.5 inches / 26.7 cm wide. Photos show front and back. Stained in one spot.

These authentic old Bedouin hand embroidered textile items are harder to find as younger Bedouin women no longer wear them on a regular basis. Even in the market in the Old City in Jerusalem, one finds replicas of them more often then vintage items like these.
