Vintage silver and pearl necklace sourced from the Siwa Oasis market in Egypt.

Siwa was a long time trading stop for camel caravans between the Middle East and North Africa and has maintained a tradition of producing silver jewelry. Originally believed to be from Afghanistan.

 Mid -1900's. May have been restrung. Needs a new closure. Measures 12 inches in length. 2 inches tall.
