Short Strand of 23 Mixed Ancient Amazonite Beads from Mauritania - Rita Okrent Collection (S557)

Mixed strand of Amazonite beads in a variety of shapes and hues. Nice tabular shaped beads on this strand. Amazonite beads from Mauritania and Morocco were used in jewelry and for trade, in times of need.

These beads are estimated to be at least a thousand years old.
