Sets of 4 triple-drilled diamond-shaped faux amber carved and decorated beads made from bakelite/resin. Mid 1900's or later.
These beads were manufactured to replace expensive natural Baltic amber beads for the African Trade.
These vintage diamond shaped faux amber beads are great for all sorts of necklace designs as focal beads or accent beads.
Some chips and wear. Imperfect condition. Sold as is.
Weight (all 4 beads) - in 18-21 grams range.
Range around 25-27mm at widest point x 15mm thickness.
Sold in groups (light, medium and darker amber shades).
