Yemeni Coin Silver Decorated Pendant from Traditional Bracelet, Wadi Bayhan, Yemen.

An unusual pendant that appears to have been reworked to make it into a khol box or other container. It was most likely purchased in Egypt in the 1980's.

Central hole and through bails on sides. 1.5" tall and 1.5" wide, including bails (from top, not including curve).

Weighs 18 grams.

The type of bracelet from which this pendant originates can be found in Marjorie Ransom's book, "Silver Treasures in the Land of Sheba" on page 84.
