Large Ornate Hand-Made Kingfisher Feather Pendant (Insect).

Kingfishers are a family of small to medium-sized, brightly colored birds with most species found in the tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Oceania, but also can be seen in Europe.

Mid 19th century to early 20th century, China (Qing Dynasty).

Was originally a brooch. Sourced by Rita in the 1970's.

Good condition with wear due to age and use. Some feathers worn off. Will need to have a little adjustment to be worn as brooch or used as focal pendant (see back).

6.6 cm end to end / 2.6 inches (approximately).
