Medley of Red Glass Beads from the African Trade - Rita Okrent Collection (AT0537)

30 inch long strand of mixed glass beads ranging from 4-19mm.

Most of these breads were probably made in Europe and some were used in the African Trade.

Some of these are translucent red and some are more of a light dusty red. Some wear.

Lots of useful beads here.
