Antique Vert-de-Gris Bronze Bells from Mali.These antique bells are used by the Dogon people, who live high in the cliffs of the West African savannah, and make necklaces and jewelry of iron and copper alloy using the lost wax technique. According to the reference book the History of Beads, these bells may have been made in Mali or may have been imported for use there.
These bells are a good size for focal pendants and jewelry supplies, and would make excellent props for a show table or booth. They are really special.
Bells average 5 cm tall including bail.
