Long Excavated Metal Bronze Beads, Dogon People, Mali - ANT407

These excavated beads were found in Mali, and are from the Dogon people, who live high in the cliffs of the West African savannah, and make necklaces and jewelry of iron and copper.

We don't know the age on these but they are estimated to be 100+ years old.

Lots of character and verdigris. These are substantial beads, measuring 3.6 inches and 4.75 inches long.

Sold together.
