This large square Tcherot or Kitab has decorative copper etching over a silver base.
Circa mid 1900's.
It would have been used to hold a protective verse or prayer and would have been worn by a man, most likely, as the ones worn by girls and women tended to be smaller.
Measures 4.5 inches wide and long (11.5 cm) and is on a worn leather strand measuring approximately 30 inches (76 cm).
Rita picked this up on her travels in the 1980's or 1990's in Morocco.
